Saturday May 19, 2007

Today was a great day toward preparing for the 2008 GSOP Presidential Forum.

I know, I'm easy to get excited over anything to due with the Presidenti al Primary.

But today was very special ,because today the local work was enhanched by the support of a more regional group from the Northeasten United States and the Center for Comunity Change.

People came to this meeting from Pittsburg Pa, New York, New York, Springfield Ma., Albany N.Y., Waterbury Ct., Providence R.I., Portland and Augusta Me., Lawrence Ma., Washington D.C., as well as Goffstown, Milford, Concord and of course Manchester N.H..

Our time together went by so fast!!!

We heard wonderful and compeling stories about how our issues of Affordible Housing, Livable Wages, Affordible Health Care, Immigration Reform, and Education have touched the lives of real people. All present were excitied about sharing reality with the Presidential Canidates on these issues which matter not just to ourselves but to this nation.

I know that I left that meeting with even more excitment and more certanty about how September 15, 2007 will be an historical event and a start of a long term campaign of relationships promoting justice and equality for all.
